Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley suffered a MCL and PCL injury in his right knee and will reportedly miss 4-to-5 weeks.

Detroit head coach Jim Caldwell told a Detroit radio station that doctors looked at Fairley and that he will be getting another opinion in the next couple of days.

However, Caldwell went on to say that Fairley is "not going to be back quickly" and reports have him missing 4-to-5 weeks.

In the second quarter of Sunday's game against Atlanta, he got mixed up with Ndamukong Suh and immediately grabbed his knee, eventually being helped off the field before going to the locker room.

The four-year veteran has 14 tackles and a sack in eight games this season.
