Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo went down with an injury in the second period against the New York Islanders and needed to be helped off the ice.

Luongo made a right pad save on a point shot and immediately fell to the ice. The 38-year-old could not put any weight on his right leg as the training staff helped him to the bench.

The 18-year veteran was 6-6-1 with a .928 save percentage and 2.61 goals against average so far this season for the Panthers. Earlier in the season Luongo became only the second goalie, joining Hall of Famer Patrick Roy, to win 200 wins with two different teams.
