The Toronto Maple Leafs are among the teams pursuing undrafted KHL winger Ilya Mikheyev, TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger confirmed Tuesday.

Mikheyev, 24, posted 23 goals and 45 points in 62 games with Omsk Avangard this season and added four goals and 11 points in 13 playoff games.

Dreger reports the Vegas Golden Knights and Chicago Blackhawks are also chasing Mikheyev, who is expected to make a decision by this weekend. He adds that a majority of NHL teams have shown interest in the winger.

Mikheyev has spent the past four seasons in the KHL with Avangard, posting 64 goals and 120 points in 224 games. He represented Russia at the world hockey championship last spring, posting three goals and one assist in eight games.

The Maple Leafs signed defenceman Igor Ozhiganov from the KHL's CSKA Moscow last summer.
