Melody Ehsani, designer and current creative director of Foot Locker, is the latest visionary to be tapped to create her own interpretation of the popular Air Jordan 36 Low

Debuted recently by Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum during warm-ups for Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Ehsani’s luxurious take on the sneaker includes a colourful snakeskin pattern covering the side panels, laces, tongues, heel straps and midsole. Appearing twice in the design is the hamsa hand, first featured as a golden adornment mid-way down the tongue and then also found printed on the sole. Also featured is another golden adornment found at the bottom of the tongue, a globe with athletes and Ehsani’s ME branding.

Inside the shoes reads a special message, an important detail not to be overlooked. According to Ehsani, the "Interior of the shoe reads ‘we stand on the shoulders of greats’. Paying homage to our ancestors who have paved the way. The hamsa or hand of God on the sole is a symbol for protection from anything that doesn’t serve your purpose."

These eye-catching kicks are the latest to join the Air Jordan 36 Player Exclusives.
