KHL winger Ilya Mikheyev confirmed Monday that he's being pursued by both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vegas Golden Knights.

Speaking at a team facility, the Omsk Avangard forward was asked directly about the two teams and confirmed their interest.

"Toronto or Vegas," Mikheyev said, per Russia's OM1 via Google Translate. "They are really interesting clubs and offers, but now I don’t want to discuss them."

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger confirmed last week the Leafs and Golden Knights both had interest in the undrafted winger, adding that a majority of NHL teams had shown interest.

The 24-year-old posted 23 goals and 45 points in 62 games with Omsk Avangard this season and added four goals and 11 points in 13 playoff games.

Mikheyev has spent the past four seasons in the KHL with Avangard, posting 64 goals and 120 points in 224 games. He represented Russia at the world hockey championship last spring, posting three goals and one assist in eight games.
