Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell left in the second quarter of Thursday's game versus the Ottawa Redblacks after incurring an apparent knee injury, which resulted in him missing the rest of the game.

The injury to Mitchell appeared to have occurred following a low tackle by Redblacks defensive lineman Danny Mason. The defender received a 15-yard roughing the passer penalty on the play.

Rookie Nick Arbuckle took over for the reigns at QB following Mitchell's exit, and helped the team beat the the Redblack 27-3.

Prior to exiting, Mitchell went 16-for-21 for 166 yards and a touchdown on his way to helping the Stampeders build a 17-0 lead.
