With Brian Elliott already expected to be on the shelf until mid-march, the Philadelphia Flyers may have lost another goaltender.

Michal Neuvirth left Sunday's game against the New York Rangers with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Alex Lyon took over Sunday as the backup at the start of the second period, with Dustin Tokarski next in line should Neuvirth miss time according to TSN Senior Hockey Writer Frank Seravalli. Carter Hart would fall under emergency conditions with a recall from Everett of the WHL.

In 20 games this season, Neuvirth has a GAA of 2.48 and a save percentage of .919.

The Flyers will be back in action Tuesday at home against the Montreal Canadiens.
