GUELPH, Ont. — Kyle Maksimovich put away the winner 3:10 into overtime as the Erie Otters edged the Guelph Storm 5-4 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Chad Yetman had a hat trick for Erie (5-6-1) and Kurtis Henry added a goal.

Nate Schnarr, Liam Hawel, Jack Hanley and Isaac Ratcliffe scored for the Storm (7-4-2).

Daniel Murphy turned away 28 shots for the Otters. Anthony Popovich made 23 saves for Guelph.

Erie went 1 for 4 on the power play and the Storm were 1 for 3 with the man advantage.
