The Edmonton Oilers lost defencemen Andrej Sekera and Yohann Auvitu to injury Monday against the Minnesota Wild.

Sekera appeared to get his leg tangled up before leaving the game while Auvitu appeared to get injured blocking a shot. Neither player has returned.

Sekera has played in just 35 games for the Oilers this season, recording eight assists. Auvitu has played in 32 games, registering three goals and six assists.
