Bernier: Fitness improving, squad getting acclimatized
Fresh off a 1-0 friendly win against a Cruz Azul Select XI, the Patrice Bernier says he is seeing marked improvement with the squad since first arriving in Mexico, February 8th. In a highly spirited encounter which saw McInerney red carded and Cruz Azul awarded two penalties, the skipper says it serves as good warning as to what can be expected from CONCACAF officials.
