The seconds are ticking towards the start of the NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors.

Check out the sights and sounds of Media Day as host James Duthie is joined by long-time Toronto Raptor, two-time NBA champion and 11-time NBA All-Star Chris Bosh.

2:30pm - Here's Klay Thompson indicating he separates Drake, the rapper, from Drake, the Raptors fan.


2:15pm - Draymond says that when Kawhi dominates a game, "it doesn't look the same" as when a KD or Damian Lillard does.

"It doesn't look as pretty, but boy, is it effective."

Green notes that seeing how Leonard works make you give a greater appreciation into what he does.


2:12pm - Green compares Boogie's transition to the Warriors like "a kid getting dropped off from a private school in the 'hood" and having to adjust. 


2:09pm - Draymond defends on his comments on being the best of defender of all-time as the product of a positive mindset.

"I believe that and I strive for that every day."


2:03pm - Klay Thompson says that he's a Drake fan, but "right now, I'm in kill mode."


1:59pm - Kyle Lowry is "always in the mix," Curry says.

"You've got to know where he is at all times and match his energy...it's going to be fun." 


1:58pm - Steph calls the team's effort without KD one "by committee."

"Play fast, play loose and play disciplined," Curry says of his mindset heading into Game 1.


1:56pm - Curry offers praise for Jeremy Lin's perseverance.

"He's made a great career of it."


1:53pm - Curry says it's "special" to be playing in Toronto with his family's history here and his wife being from Markham, Ont.

1:42pm - Boogie says that he "feels good" and that "everything is coming along," but "nothing is ever really up to" him when it comes to whether or not he's going to play in Game 1.

Cousins admits to being "antsy" to get back out there.


1:36pm - Kerr praises the fans in Toronto and the city and says that Scotiabank Arena and Oracle are the two loudest arenas in the league.


1:35pm - Kerr reiterates that Kevin Durant will not play in Game 1 and he has not practiced yet.

He says that DeMarcus Cousins would play if it were the regular season, but no decision has been made as of Game 1 yet.

1:20pm - Serge Ibaka declares Toronto a basketball town.


1:14pm - Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live tries to get OG Anunoby to do "a Canadian shot."


1:10pm - Lowry concludes his availability by agreeing that Kawhi Leonard is "a fun guy."


1:08pm - Lowry laughs when told that Draymond has called himself the greatest defender of all-time.

"I think Kawhi is right up there."


1:06pm - Lowry is effusive in praise for former Raptors Alonzo McKinnie, who's gotten a chance to play for the Warriors.

"I'm very happy for him."


1:05pm - Asked if a trip to the Finals is vindication for previous playoffs struggles, Lowry says no.

"As long as we win games, I don't care."

1:03pm - Green says that Kawhi isn't as quiet as people think and he's assertive on the floor.

"He's our quiet leader."


1:01pm - Danny Green recalls Game 1 against the Warriors in 2017 in which Kawhi was hurt.

"I thought, what the f--- happened?...it was a pretty big blow."


12:57pm - Marc Gasol says that he enjoyed coming to Toronto as an opposing player and heard great stories about the city from former Grizzlies teammate and Toronto native Dillon Brooks.

"They're private stories," Gasol clarifies.


12:55pm - Siakam admits that some of the team's transactions "caught a lot of us off-guard," but he notes that it's "the nature of the business" and he has full trust in Masai Ujiri.

12:53pm - Chris Bosh reflects on what a Finals appearance means for the city of Toronto.


12:50pm - Kawhi Leonard's availability is over.


12:49pm - Leonard says the fact that he doesn't have the profile of a LeBron or Steph, despite having the same level of skill, doesn't bother him in the slightest and it's all about "having fun on the court."


12:46pm - Asked about how his defensive prowess aids his offensive game, Kawhi says that it comes in handy during transition, but doesn't necessarily think the two are related.


12:45pm - Kawhi says that his opinion of Toronto has changed based on having only been once a year before. He notes that being able to see all of the support was tremendous.


12:45pm - Kawhi reflects on his first Finals, noting that there was "anxiousness," but that "It's the same basketball game."

12:39pm - Nurse is asked about his extensive coaching experience from England to the G-League and now in the NBA and he reflects on how just knowing that he was able to coach and getting out there and actually doing it has been a motivating factor in how his career has progressed.


12:36pm - Nurse says that both of Kawhi Leonard and Draymond Green are in the conversation for best defender on the planet.

Both possess "a tremendous amount of pride" in making stops.


12:34pm - Not news from Nurse, but news nonetheless - OG Anunoby - out for all of the playoffs after emergency appendix surgery - hopes to return at some point during the Finals

Anunoby notes that he hasn't resumed full practice, but he has started to once again take contact.

11:56am - TSN's Kayla Grey asks if there was a point where Ujiri saw everything clicking for this team and Masai says that he can't really pinpoint one because "every day you're trying to prepare for a moment like this."


11:54am - Ujiri acknowledges how difficult players leaving in trades and free agency is, but says that the team right now is prepared for every scenario going forward this summer.

11:52am - Asked about Kawhi's impending free agency, Ujiri says "Toronto is the place for him," but notes that his focus right now is solely on the Golden State Warriors.

11:47am - Asked about a survey that said 47 of 50 US states are pulling for the Raptors, Ujiri says it's "flattering" and notes that Toronto is the perfect place to reflect the global nature of the game.

"We can reach the world from Canada."


11:46am - Ujiri acknowledges the difficulty faced by Lowry in the aftermath of the DeRozan trade in seeing his best friend moved, but praises his professionalism.

"He's a winner," Ujiri says of Lowry. "There's no other way to put it. He's just a winner."


11:43am - Ujiri takes a question from Sky Sports in England about the multicultural nature of the Raptors and the city of Toronto.

"All the backgrounds are here...it really brings us together."


11:41am - Masai praises the leadership of Kyle Lowry and how he's taken over that mantle this season.

11:39am - Ujiri calls Leonard's training regimen "crazy" and was blown away by his commitment to get back to full health.
