Brett Anderson is going back to Oakland. 

According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, Anderson and the Oakland A's are in agreement on a one-year deal pending a physical. 

Anderson pitched 80.1 innings for the A's last season, making 17 starts and posting an earned run average of 4.48. Passan notes that he will be in line for a rotation spot this year. 

Anderson has also spent time with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays. 

The 31-year-old made his debut in April of 2009.
