The Chicago Bears have reached a three-year, $42 million agreement with wide receiver Allen Robinson, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Robinson played in just one game last season due to a torn ACL, and had an up and down career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a breakout sophomore season in 2015, hauling in 80 catches for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns while earning Pro Bowl honours.

He fell back to earth in 2016 with 73 receptions on 883 yards and 6 touchdowns.

According to Rapoport, roughly $25 million is guaranteed in his contract with the Bears, who were desperate for receiving help.

The 6'3" receiver was drafted by the Jaguars in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
