Chris Paul has signed a $160 million deal for four years with the Houston Rockets, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Last season was Paul’s first in Houston after coming over in a sign-and-trade deal with the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Sam Dekkar, Montrezl Harrell and three others.

Paul, along with guard James Harden, guided the Rockets to a franchise-best 65 wins and earned them the top seed in the Western Conference. In the Western Conference Finals, the Rockets took a 3-2 series lead but Paul was injured late in Game 5 and the Golden State Warriors would go on to win the next two games and eventually, the NBA title.

During the regular season, the 33-year-old averaged 18.6 points per game to go along with 7.9 assists a night. His assists numbers were the lowest they’ve been since his rookie season (7.8) when he was with the New Orleans Hornets, but much of that could be due to sharing play-making duties with Harden.

Paul will enter his 14th season in the NBA after being drafted No. 4 overall by the Hornets in 2005. He is a nine-time All-Star and a winner of the Rookie of the Year Award in 2006.
