According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Houston Rockets and restricted free agent centre Clint Capela have reached an agreement on a five-year offer sheet worth $90 million.

Capela, 24, originally received a five-year, $85 million qualifying offer from the Rockets that prevented him from entering free agency on July 1 and the two sides seemed to be at an impasse until reaching the deal on Friday.

The Rockets' starting big man had an incredible season last year, averaging career-highs in points per game (13.9), field goal percentage (.652), rebounds per game (10.8) and blocks per game (1.9).

After winning a franchise-best 65 wins to take first place in the Western Conference last season, the Rockets were bounced in seven games in the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors and have had a difficult off-season, losing small forward Trevor Ariza to the Phoenix Suns and centre Luc Mbah a Moute to the Los Angeles Clippers in free agency.
