The Golden State Warriors are waiving Canadian forward Chris Boucher, sources told Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Boucher, who the Warriors signed to a two-way contract after going undrafted in 2017, will become an unrestricted free agent.

Boucher, 25, appeared in just one game with the Warriors, who won their second straight championship this past season. The majority of his time in the Bay Area was spent with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State's G-League affiliate. In 20 Games with Santa Cruz, Boucher averaged 11.8 points 7.5 rebounds and 2.1 blacks.

Prior to playing professionally, Boucher spent two years playing collegiately with the University of Oregon, where he was teammates with fellow Canadian, Dillon Brooks, of the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Montreal native is currently playing with Canada's senior men's team as they play exhibition games ahead of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers which begin on June 28.
