According to multiple reports, the Toronto Raptors have relieved assistant coaches Bill Bayno and Tom Sterner of their duties.
Sterner was the only holdover from Dwane Casey's original coaching staff, which was turned over when Masai Ujiri took his post as general manager in the summer of 2013.
Bayno was one of the replacements at the time, primarily responsible for player development. During his two seasons in Toronto, no one spent more one-on-one time working with Jonas Valanciunas, both on and off the court, than Bayno.
Offensive guru Nick Nurse, Jesse Mermuys and Jama Mahlalela remain on staff.
