BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Cory Schneider made 22 saves in his second rehab start as the Binghamton Devils beat the Belleville Senators 3-1 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.

Schneider, who had surgery on his left hip in May and is on a conditioning assignment with the New Jersey Devils' AHL affiliate, is 1-1-0 with a 2.02 goals-against average and .926 save percentage in his two starts.

Marian Studenic, Eric Tangradi and Nick Lappin supplied the offence for the Devils (4-4-0).

Drake Batherson found the back of the net for the Senators (3-4-0), who got 16 saves from Mike McKenna.

Binghamton scored on its only power-play opportunity while Belleville went 0 for 2 with the man advantage.
