Schwartz suffers LBI, leaves games vs. Wings

St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz left Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings with a lower-body injury suffered in the first period and did not return. Schwartz blocked a shot from Red Wings defenceman Mike Green and was helped off the ice.

St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz left Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings wwith a lower-body injury suffered in the first period and did not return.

Schwartz blocked a shot from Red Wings defenceman Mike Green and was helped off the ice.

The 25-year-old scored the opening goal of the game before leaving. He was 14 goals and 20 assists in 30 games this season for the Blues.
