Steven Stamkos left Sunday's game against the Nashville Predators and did not return with a lower-body injury.

Stamkos missed last Monday's game against the Arizona Coyotes with a lower-body ailment but there is no indication if Sunday's injury is related to that. There was no update on Stamkos after the game but head coach Jon Cooper said the Lightning are expected to provide one Monday.

In 78 games this season, Stamkos has 27 goals and 59 assists.

The Lightning will be back in action Tuesday when they host the Boston Bruins.
