The Calgary Stampeders have traded WR Maurice Price to the Ottawa Redblacks for LB Jasper Simmons and WR Dan Buckner.

The news was first reported by the Calgary Sun.

Price finished last season with 34 receptions for 544 yards and two touchdowns despite playing in only 11 games due to injury.

The 29-year-old from Charleston Southern had 109 receptions 1,737 yards and 12 touchdowns in his three years with the Stampeders.

Simmons led the Redblacks in tackles their inaugural season with 80. He also had three interceptions in his first shot at extended playing time after two years with the Toronto Argonauts.

Buckner played in two games with the Redblacks last season.
