ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Houston Texans tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz could be forced to retire because of concussions.

The 26-year-old was placed on the injured reserve in September because of a concussion. He was put back on the roster in Week 10 only to go back on the IR with his third concussion of the season after Sunday's loss against the Tennessee Titans.

Fiedorowicz was a third round pick by the Texans and signed a three-year $ 21.5 million contract extension with the team in the off-season.

Last year the tight end had a career year with 54 receptions for 559 yards and four touchdowns.
