Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley will be joining the U.S. national team for its friendly against Honduras on Oct. 14.
The match, to be played in Boca Raton, Florida, follows the U.S. team's 1-1 draw with Ecuador on Oct. 10.
Bradley was not named to the squad for that match, which freed him up to participate in two crucial MLS club matches, including Wednesday's 1-0 loss to the Houston Dynamo and Saturday's tilt against New York.
The 27-year-old is one of six additions to the squad the U.S. team announced Saturday, alongside Clint Dempsey, Graham Zusi, Jermaine Jones, Matt Besler and keeper Sean Johnson.
Bradley has earned 89 caps for the U.S. team, putting him fourth amongst active players. DeMarcus Beasley holds the active record with 120 after the retirement of Landon Donovan, who played his final game for the men's team on Friday.
