Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews will be out for "a few games" with an upper-body injury, accoridng to head coach Joel Quenneville. 

He left Tuesday's game against the Colorado Avalanche with an upper-body ailment and will be reevaluated next week. The Avalanche went on to win 5-1.

In 74 games this season, Toews has 20 goals and 32 assists to rank second on the team in points behind Patrick Kane. Toews has been hot of late, recording 12 points in his last 10 games. 

In other injury news, left winger Matthew Highmore returned to practice Thursday after missing the game against the Avalanche. 

Chicago will be back in action Thursday night when they host the Vancouver Canucks.
