Valve is putting an end to third-party gambling for Counter-Strike and Dota 2 on Steam.

The company announced Wednesday that using the streaming service for gambling business is not in line with its user agreements.

Any one currently running third-party gambling sites on Steam will receive notices to “cease operations through Steam,” and Valve may “pursue the matter as necessary.”

The crackdown comes in the wake of two lawsuits alleging that Valve had knowledge of what is being called illegal gambling and allowed the operations to continue. Valve has denied these claims and says that it made no profit off the gambling activities.
