CALGARY — Riley Stotts scored once and set up two more and Ryder Korczak had three assists as the Calgary Hitmen downed the Lethbridge Hurricanes 5-2 on Thursday in Western Hockey League playoff action.

Josh Prokop scored the go-ahead goal at 1:44 of the third period for the Hitmen, who evened the best-of-seven first-round series at two games each.

James Malm, Vladislav Yeryomenko and Luke Coleman supplied the rest of the Calgary offence while Jack McNaughton made 37 saves for the victory.

Jake Elmer and Logan Barlage scored for the Hurricanes, who host Game 5 on Saturday.

Carl Tetachuk stopped 30-of-34 shots in a losing cause.

Beck Warm gave his team a chance, turning away 35-of-37 shots for the Americans.
