Reebok is re-releasing Allen Iverson’s ‘Step Over’ Answer IVs
To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Allen Iverson stepping over Tyronn Lue, Reebok is re-releasing the Answer IV sneaker worn by Iverson on the play.
On June 6, 2001, Allen Iverson scored one of the most memorable buckets of his career against the Los Angeles Lakers. In Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals, Iverson stepped back against Lue and hit a tough fadeaway jumper to score the overtime dagger for the Philadelphia 76ers.
In the aftermath, Iverson stepped over Lue in what has since been regarded as an iconic NBA moment.
To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of that moment, Reebok is re-releasing the Answer IV sneaker worn by Iverson on the play. Rebranded as the ‘Step Over’ Answer IV, the sneaker features a black-and-white design with a zipper and strap along the tongue of the shoe.
The Reebok ‘Step Over’ Answer IV releases on June 4th, two days before the 20th anniversary of Iverson’s highlights, at a retail price of US$140.
