Hip-hop mogul Travis Scott and his company Cactus Jack Films have signed a production deal with American indie film company A24, whose projects include films such as Moonlight and Uncut Gems

Cactus Jack and A24 will be producing films together, including Utopia, a special project announced on Scott’s Instagram. The film is intended as a ‘first draft’ that will coincide with his next studio album of the same name, which follows his 2018 album Astroworld.

Scott has recently teased elements of Utopia, including last month at Rolling Loud Miami where he teased the upcoming single “Escape Plan” by projecting a QR code into the sky with a pre-save link to the song.

Scott is no stranger to partnerships as the entrepreneur has seen himself become a staple in cross-industry collaboration. Cactus Jack has been the driving force behind multiple self-promotional joint-efforts, including the Travis Scott Meal at McDonald’s and his in-game concert with Fortnite.

Scott’s next major hit is set to release on Kanye West’s highly-anticipated upcoming album DONDA, where he is featured on the track “Praise God” along with rapper Baby Keem.
