Vancouver Canucks centre Bo Horvat left the team's Thursday night preseason game against the Edmonton Oilers and did not return.
The Canucks' 2013 first-round pick (ninth overall) left the ice in the first period after taking a hit from Oilers right wing Tyler Pitlick.
According to a tweet from the Canucks' official Twitter account, the 19-year-old sustained an upper body injury and would not return to the game.
Horvat is one of a trio of prospects still on the Canucks' training camp roster, alongside 21-year-old Nicklas Jensen and fellow 2013 first-rounder, Hunter Shinkaruk (selected 24th overall).
