Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry sprained his right ankle against the San Antonio Spurs Thursday night and will not play in the team's next two games on the road, head coach Steve Kerr said postgame.

The Warriors visit the Portland Trail Blazers  Friday night, and will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.

Curry had just two points in 2:23 of playing time before leaving the game and not returning. The marks the fourth time this season that Curry has injured his ankle. He's missed 13 games this because of injuries to his ankles, including 11 in December.

The eighth-year veteran is having yet another strong season, averaging 26.3 points per game and 6.2 assists for the 52-14 Warriors, who sit just a half game back of the Houston Rockets for first place in the Western Conference standings.
