NEW YORK, N.Y. - Buffalo Sabres centre Tyler Ennis was named NHL first star of the week on Monday after recording five points in three games last week.

Ennis had one goal and four assists over the period as the Sabres won three straight games.

Minnesota Wild defenceman Ryan Suter was named second star and New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist took the third star.

Suter led all defencemen with five points (all assists) in three games.

Lundqvist went 3-0-0 with a 1.30 goals-against average, a .951 save percentage and one shutout.
