HARTFORD, Conn. — Tim Gettinger scored the winner at 16:22 of the third period as the Hartford Wolf Pack edged the Toronto Marlies 3-2 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.

Brandon Halverson stopped 43-of-45 shots while Vinni Lettieri and Steven Fogarty also scored for the Wolf Pack (21-25-6).

Calle Rosen and Pierre Engvall found the back of the net for the Marlies (25-17-8), who entered the night 4-0-2 in their last six.

Michael Hutchinson turned away 23-of-26 shots in a losing cause.

Hartford went 0 for 2 on the power play while Toronto was 1 for 2 with the man advantage.
