In a majority of instances, updates on player health strictly come from teams.

Gronkowski, 26, incurred the injury in the fourth quarter when Broncos defensive end Darian Stewart went low on an incomplete pass from quarterback Tom Brady. The Amherst, New York native's knee came back hard upon contact. An MRI showed that nothing was torn.

The Patriots, 10-1, sit atop the AFC East. They host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. A win coupled with a New York Jets loss to the New York Giants would clinch the Pats' their 13th division title in the past 15 seasons.
