Habs ink Lindgren to three-year extension
Charlie Lindgren is locked up. The Montreal Canadiens announced on Tuesday that they've agreed to a three-year, one-way extension with the 24-year-old goaltender. TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports the deal carries an annual average value of $750,000 per season.

The Montreal Canadiens announced on Tuesday that they've agreed to a three-year, one-way extension with the 24-year-old goaltender.

A native of Lakeville, Minn., Lindgren has appeared in eight games with the Habs this season, posting a 3-4-1 mark with a 2.43 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage.
In 28 contests with the American Hockey League's Laval Rocket, Lindgren is 7-13-2 this season with a 3.15 GAA and a .893 SV%.
Undrafted out of St. Cloud State and signed as a free agent in the fall of 2015, Lindgren has appeared in 11 career NHL contests over three seasons.
