The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired Tomas Jurco and traded Cliff Pu to the Florida Panthers in separate trades.

In both trades, the teams are sending back future considerations in the deals.

In 14 games for the Panthers' AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, Jurco has four goals and six assists.

In 44 games for the Hurricanes' AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, Pu has one goal and five assists.
