The Bruins claimed centre Landon Ferraro off waivers on Sunday. Ferraro was waived by the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. Ferraro had no points and was a minus-3 in 10 games with the Wings this season. - NHL.

Semyon Varlamov will soon be activated from injured reserve. The 27-year-old has missed the last seven games because of a groin injury and is expected to get the start in Monday's game against the Winnipeg Jets. - Denver Post
