Defenceman Douglas Murray will join the club on Friday on a try-out basis. The 35-year-old hasn't played in the NHL this season. - Team Release
Flames had an optional skate this morning and all eigh defencemen skated including Douglas Murray. Murray said he's lost 15 pounds and hopes to get signed and help the Flames make the playoffs.
