Devon Travis may be headed back to the disabled list after leaving Tuesday's game with a shoulder injury.

According to MLB.com, Travis doesn't sound like someone who is ready to return soon after having missed six weeks earlier this season with a similar injury.

"I'm not really a negative person with anything, but I mean, it's obviously a little scary," said Travis, who tried to play through the injury in May. "We've got 60 games to go, and I'm hurting again."

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said MRI results didn't reveal any significant damage, who hinted that the team might err on the side of caution this time.

"I don't think it's something you can drag out," Gibbons said. "We need him playing full strength. If we decide it would be better to try and knock it out, instead of playing through it, where he's not at his best and it affects his full game, it would probably be smart to DL him."

Should Travis be on the shelf for any length of time, Ryan Goins would likely slot in at second base.
