The Los Angeles Kings have locked up restricted free agent Tyler Toffoli with a bridge contract.

According to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun the Kings signed the 23-year-old forward to a two-year, $6.5 million contract on Friday.

Toffoli scored 23 goals and notched 26 assists in 76 games with the Kings last season.

A second-round pick in 2010, Toffoli debuted with the Kings in the 2012-13 season and has tallied 37 goals and 83 points in 148 career games.

According to LeBrun, the deal is worth $2.6 million in its first year and $3.9 million in 2016-17.
