Leafs ink Ennis to one-year, $650K deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Tyler Ennis to a one-year deal worth $650,000, the team announced on Friday.

Ennis appeared in 73 games last season for the Minnesota Wild and scored eight goals and 14 assists with a minus-1 rating.

The 28-year-old spent one season with the Wild after playing parts of eight seasons with the Buffalo Sabres.

He was selected 26th overall at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres.
