National defensive back Ryan Hinds is joining the Ottawa Redblacks.

Hinds announced the move on Twitter after thanking the Edmonton Eskimos and their fans for their support the past three seasons.

After four years with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to start his career, the 29-year-old spent the past three with the Eskimos, helping the team win the Grey Cup last year.

Hinds has 116 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack in his seven-year career.
