Embedded ImageTo The Max:  Max Domi scored a hat trick and Oliver Ekman-Larsson had four points plus the winner in overtime as the Arizona Coyotes beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 last night. In Winnipeg, the Sharks won their third in a row with a 4-1 decision over the Jets.

The Great Eight:  The Chicago Blackhawks celebrated the contract extension of head coach Joel Quenneville by winning their eighth in a row in a 3-2 decision over the Nashville Predators. In Denver, Steven Stamkos scored twice as the Lightning shut out the Avalanche 4-0, and in Brooklyn, Brock Nelson netted a hat trick to lead the Islanders past the Blue Jackets 5-2.

Heading West:  NFL owners voted last night to allow the St. Louis Rams to move to a new stadium just outside Los Angeles, with the San Diego Chargers having until early 2017 to decide if they want to share the facility. The Raiders will remain in Oakland for the time being but will have a chance to move to L.A. if the Chargers decline.

American League MVP Josh Donaldson headed the group, which also includes newly acquired pitchers Drew Storen and Jesse Chavez. Brett Cecil, Steve Delabar, Drew Hutchison, Aaron Loup and Michael Saunders make up the rest of the Blue Jay list.
