Nylander, Bibeau lead Marlies over Americans
Maple Leafs first-round draft pick William Nylander had a goal and two assists and Antoine Bibeau made 28 saves as the Toronto Marlies toppled the Rochester Americans 5-1 on Saturday in American Hockey League action. The Marlies have a two-point lead over Milwaukee for the final Western Conference playoff spot with four games to play.

TORONTO - Maple Leafs first-round draft pick William Nylander had a goal and two assists and Antoine Bibeau made 28 saves as the Toronto Marlies toppled the Rochester Americans 5-1 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.
Byron Froese also had a goal and two helpers for the Marlies (36-27-9), who have a two-point lead over Milwaukee for the final Western Conference playoff spot with four games to play. Connor Brown, Matt Frattin, and Brendan Leipsic each scored and set up a goal apiece.
Justin Kea supplied the offence for Rochester (28-39-6) while Anthony Peters stopped 29-of-33 shots.
Toronto's Sam Carrick was given a game misconduct for his second fight of the game at 10:24 of the second period.
The Marlies were 1 for 4 on the power play while the Americans failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
