Edmonton Oilers defenceman Adam Larsson posted a minus-3 rating for the second straight game on Sunday's and called out his own play after a 7-4 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.

"They came out hot, we didn't and a lot of that is on me," Larsson said. "I'm playing so bad right now. I don't know what it is, but I need it to stop as soon as possible.

"I feel like I'm working hard. I feel like I'm just too I’m passive, I’m not skating. Nothing is going my way. It’s up to me to get out of it. I’m not even close right now."

Larsson has one goal and 13 points this season and has a minus-13 rating through 49 games. He's logged less than 18 minutes of ice time in each of the Oilers' past two games, both losses, which is well below his season average of 22:12.

“I can’t even look at team play right now. I have my own game to focus on and it’s so bad right now. I have to fix that first before I look left or right,” Larsson said. “I’m passive, I’m not skating. I won’t get any help; it’s up to me to get out of this. And I’m the first to admit, I know how well I can play.”

The Oilers (23-23-3) will host the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday in their final game before the All-Star break.
