Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will miss Saturday's game against the Arizona Coyotes, Panthers head coach Bob Boughner told reporters.

The Panthers recalled Harri Sateri, who will back up James Reimer Saturday. Luongo is hopeful to return Monday against the New York Islanders.

"He’s definitely banged up a little bit," Boughner said, via the Sun-Sentinel's Matthew DeFranks. "Nothing major. Minor, but to the point where we want to make sure that we got two goalies in the lineup that both can play."

Luongo has been a big reason for the Panthers second-half surge that has them in the playoff chase. The 38-year-old has a 15-10-2 record with a .927 save percentage and 2.55 goals against average in 29 games this year. Luongo missed time earlier this season with a lower-body injury.

Reimer, who will make his 39th appearance Saturday against the Coyotes, has an 18-13-5 record with a .911 save percentage and 3.03 goals against average.
