Moton Hopkins is sticking in Ottawa. The veteran defensive lineman inked a two-year deal to remain with the Redblacks.

Hopkins joined Ottawa last year via the expansion draft and recorded 13 tackles and one sack.

“Moton has talent, loads of character and is respected by his teammates, his coaches and fans. We’re very happy to have him back with us,” Redblacks GM Marcel Desjardins said in a team statement.

Hopkins has also spent time with the Montreal Alouettes and Winnipeg Blue Bombers and reportedly had workouts with NFL teams south of the border this off-season.
