Report: Aldo fractures rib, status for UFC 189 title fight unknown

The long-awaited featherweight championship match is in jeopardy after Jose Aldo reportedly suffered a fractured rib on Wednesday in training. Mixed martial arts website Combate first reported the injury to the reigning champion who is scheduled to square off against Conor McGregor at UFC 189 on July 11.

The long-awaited featherweight championship match is in jeopardy after Jose Aldo reportedly suffered a fractured rib on Wednesday in training.

Mixed martial arts website Combate first reported the injury to the reigning champion who is scheduled to square off against Conor McGregor at UFC 189 on July 11 in Las Vegas.
