Former Oklahoma City Thunder assistant coach Adrian Griffin is joining the Toronto Raptors coaching staff as Nick Nurse's lead assistant. TSN Raptors reporter Josh Lewenberg has confirmed the news, which was first reported by Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.

Griffin, who turns 44 on July 4, has spent the past two seasons on Billy Donovan's staff in Oklahoma City, and coached with the Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, and Milwaukee Bucks before that.

In his playing career, Griffin dressed for five clubs over nine seasons.
