DeAndre Jordan has a decision to make.

The All-Star centre has a player option year worth just over $24 million with the Los Angeles Clippers for the 2018-19 season.

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Jordan may decide to pick up the player option in order to facilitate a possible trade. Stein adds that the Dallas Mavericks would one of the teams interested in Jordan's services.

Jordan and Dallas were close to joining forces in 2015 when the Texas A&M product committed to signing a deal with the Mavs as a free-agent before going back to the Clippers on a four-year, $87.6 million contract.

The 30-year-old averaged 12 points, 15.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 77 games in 2017-18, his 10th season in Los Angeles.

The Clippers missed the post-season for the first time since 2011 last season with a 42-40 record. The Mavericks finished third-last in the Western Conference with a 24-58 record.
