The Saskatchewan Roughriders have interviewed two members of their current staff, offensive coordinator Stephen McAdoo and special teams coordinator Craig Dickenson, for their vacant head coaching position, according to TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor.

The Roughriders, who have been looking to fill the head coaching vacancy since Chris Jones left for the NFL earlier this month, were denied permission to interview Ottawa Redblacks offensive coordinator Jaime Elizondo and Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive coordinator Paul LaPolice last week.

McAdoo has been the Roughriders' offensive coordinator and assistant head coach the past four seasons. McAdoo was also offensive coordinator under Chris Jones in Edmonton and was a co-offensive coordinator with the Montreal Alouettes.

Dickenson has been in charge of the Roughriders' special teams for the past four seasons. The veteran CFL coach has spent 14 of his 17 years in coaching in a special teams coordinator role.
